After spending a week in a Nashville hospital with a 103° temperature, dehydration, potassium critically low, kidney infection and the question of whether my mechanical heart valve was infected, I was feeling very overwhelmed. Financially, I was unable to afford home health and the IV medicine. My option was to come to Lewis County for IV therapy. The fear of such a facility was huge for me, but I have been made to feel so at home. Everyone has been super nice to me. Without a doubt, this was the place for me to be to finish my treatment and to build my strength back up so I could return home.
